Brad Schenck is a warrior. He has spent his enitre career protecting his family and community as a father, Police Officer, and Military Member.
On May 17th, 2016, He was accurately diagnosed at the Fargo VA with a large brain tumor near his left ear. Prior to that diagnosis, he was having difficulties with word finding adn reading. He went to a local hospital where he was diagnosed as having a concussion. The VA rushed him by ambulance to the U of M Medical Center in Minneapolis.
Brad underwent brain surgery for tumor resection. They were able to remove approximately 80% of the tumor, identified as Stage II Ogleodendroglioma. He continued with radiation adn chemotherapy treatment every day for 6 weeks. Chemotherapy continued another 6 months; 5 days on and 22 days off.
